Cathy Ortega & Gerald Aquintey didn't know what to expect when they opened up a Filipino grocery and takeout joint together. They knew they wanted to give Toronto a much more authentic Filipino taste and experience, without the price of a flight to the Philippines. Their solution was Tinuno, which emphasizes Kamayan (the formality of eating with your hands). Their beautifully plated food will appeal to the foodie in any group and satisfy the biggest appetite too!
